Delete some files first.
Photos will take up the most space. Then songs. Then text.
Probably you have a Windows based system. Click on Start - then My Computer. Then click on the icon for each disk. Once there, click to view the files based upon Last Date Changed. Delete the really old stuff first. Be careful that you do ONLY DELETE your DOCUMENTS - not your PROGRAM FILES & SETTINGS.
You will probably be surprised at how much stuff you are keeping that you have not used in a very long time.

Go to Internet Explorer----->Tools--->Internet Options and then delete cookies, browsing history, internet files on and off line.
Then run disk cleanup which should be under the same area as you found disk defrag....run it and when finished click OK.
Try disk defrag again....if the same message persists then go to add/remove software and see if there is any programs that you do not need and remove them...do the disk clean up again and then do disk defragment...continue this process until disk defragment works.
Once it defrags....do it again then reboot

Start->Settings->Control Panel->Add/Remove Programs
you need to remove any program that you dont really want or need. That should free up some space. You could also try deleting some of the large files on your computer like movies and mp3s.

Go to start menu, control panel, then to performance/maintenance. And then where is says "pick a task" at the top pick "free up space on your hard disk."
Also, to make even more space, go to start-control panel-add/remove programs and uninstall some programs that you never use. Hope this helps.
