What you are doing when it freezes may offer some clues. Often freezing can be caused by video drivers. Make sure you have the latest drivers for your graphics card and see if that helps.

System Crashes are due to 2 Main Reasons
1)Viruses
2)Problem in RAM
The first problem
may arise due to absence of firewall and antivirus. It will cause your system to reboot unneccesarily. It will corrupt system files, take up your memory, and will cause fatal error messages.REMEDY:Install a good antivirus. There are many free antivirus softwares available such as avg which can be found at www.grisoft.com.If problem does not get resolved after a full system scan format your windows drive and reinstall windows.
The second problem
is most due to Manufacturing errors of the RAM of due to unclean RAM.RAM related errors will cause a fatal error dark blue screen to appear,if not ignore this comment. If so try cleaning your RAM.Open your cabinet and remove the RAM and clean it using a soft brush and rub on the golden conductors using a pencil eraser. If problem persist contact your system vendor and replace your RAM.
Hope this helped you.

How many times do you click the mouse on different program trying to open them. You many have a lot of programs auto starting when you boot up the PC ( looking at the system tray in the lower right hand corner of the desktop can give a good indication). Turn them off. try that BEFORE you spend $100 for the local computer geek to do it for you. Contact me if you need more info.

virus...to remove...........
Use system restore. It is a tool to reverse what your computer installed/uninstalled. Go to the start menu, all programs, acessories, system tools, then to system restore. Screens will come up and just follow their instructions. It's easy once you get the hang of it.(NOTICE: if you installed anything important that you really needed on the same day as losing the games, you will lose that as well. you will have to re-install it. If you have concerns or are confused, just ask someone close to you with good computer knowledge. they'll probably know what to do right away.
set your computer back to when it wasn't crashing (right before it started)

Maybe your operating system doesn't work properly. Try Linux: http://ubuntu.com
You might have a virus or spyware doing damage. Windows is very vulnerable to those.
