Make your own Valentine's Day card. Make your valentine a nice dinner, some sparkling grape juice, and turn the phone off. Pick flowers for him or her, put them in a nice vase, and bring them to his or her job. Let that person know that you love them, and that Valentine's Day is not the only day you appreciate them. Plant a blooming plant in their name for Valentine's Day, and let them know it. Get a blanket, make a picnic, and enjoy your valentine in a park. Share some popcorn and a sappy romantic rental movie with him or her. Most importantly, let them know that you're thinking of them...now and forever. Good luck and God bless.

Send an Valentines e-card. Go to the dollar store and buy some valentine candy. At dollar stores, they are pretty cheap prices...you can probably buy a 2 dollars worth of things for your mate, spouse, or girlfriend/boyfriend.
It is the thought that counts with saying, "I love you!" (smile)

Valentines is not about expense it is about showing love and effort .... something out of the ordinary . A picnic with homemade goodies , a romantic dinner and movie at home ... just use your head.

buy a decorated cupcake at the bakery and give that to your valentine. Or buy a nice card. Or make a card. It's the thought that counts.
