Unless you are interested in life you won't find a meaning in laughing at nonsense...

No, I can appreciate nonsense without a serious interest in life.

I'm not sure, but in my case yes.

I'm Bi-Polar and enjoy absurd and inane humor. I ping-pong between near hysterical laughter from looking at the nonsensical side of life, and severe deep depression from looking at the serious side.

One of the most famous nonsensical comedians is Robin Williams. My doctor once told me Williams is also Bi-Polar.

Another nonsense comedian is Steven Write. I'm not sure, but he displays the traits of Bi-Polar.

yes, most definitley. If you are too focused on the small picture instead of all that life has to offer, you will not be able to appreciate the different forms of joy tucked away into each day.

I think it does. Otherwise, the nonsense just seems normal

Maybe a serious interest would let us better *ignore* nonsense. :)
