i was told magnesium,was good for heart , muscle ,blood presure,i have been on it for about 2 weeks ,and i find it seems to cause me more pain in my lower back does taking it cause any side effects, and does every one need mag.

If you take too much it's not good for you. If you take the recommended dosage, you shouldn't have any problems, it really is good for muscles and prevents cramps, however if you're concerned and think you get lower back pain, skip a day. Just take one every other day and see how that works. It also depends on your diet, you might get some from the food you eat, therefore take them 3 times a week and that should still be enough. In Germany the doctors prescribe Magnesium powder for long flights or car rides, it helps with muscle cramps.
