yeppers! it's normal....baby is getting bigger and filling up the space more. you just need to keep an eye out for when it is tightening and then releasing....that would be a contraction! wow, 7 months....hey you are right about where i am! i'll be 7 months on the 18th! we're nearing the home stretch! good luck to ya!

Yes, it's normal...the baby could be shifting positions, and like everything...skin and your uterus have a stretching point that it just can't stretch much past....you're getting close, and the closer you get the firmer you will get. It's also a good sign becuase that probably means you have a nice water sack with lots of good fluid for the baby. The firmer the better, and it also means physically you're not too fat...nice and healthy! It's normal!

it sounds like you may be having braxton hicks. if so, your entire abdomen will tighten for 30 seconds to two minutes and then "soften" again. this is very normal. if you have more than four per hour you should consult your doctor.

yeah my tummy started getting firm toward the end of pregnancy, be sure to use a lot of cocoabutter to help with those streach marks! the baby is now getting bigger and bigger and your uturus gets firmer, hence your belly getting firmer congrats!!!!
