I think that is too much money. You can protect yourself pretty well using Windows Firewall, or Norton or Zone Alarm, etc. I don't know if any company is capable of protecting their clients totally. Do they give you a guarantee and big payment if someone hacks into your identity anyway and gets money, health insurance, etc.? For 10 $ a month they should.

Listen! You do not want to get something that only monitors your credit. I am an idependent associate for identity shield and will are the only copany who will restore it if it is stolen. You are not being paranoid. 1 in 4 people are getting their dientity stole every minute, so it is happeneing. Worse of all, they cannot catch the them, so they just continue to do it. It is the #1 crime in the US. I can send you info if you would rather have it monitored and then the ability to get it restored by a company because it would take voer 600 hours to do it yourself.

it all depends on how much you use theinterent, you shop alot online then there's not too much at all out there to protect you, but yeah it might be a good idea to have the monitor. if not then i wouldn't waste my time with it
