I agree stongly; There is nothing more rude for people to use thier damn cell phones while conducting business with another person. NO ONE PERSON ON EARTH is that important.
When I had to deal with the public, I refused my companies services of any kind and told the customers why. Some got mad, others (most others understood). It should really be against the law while driving and conducting personal business that requires interaction with other humans. I've seen it in theatres, reastaurants while server where trying to take thier order, in post offices when it became thier turn with the pstal worker to make transactions. Completely comfusing and totally rude.
Then again, what more could there be when parents raise thier kids as the kids themselves being the authority figure in the household because the parent refuse to discipline them. I have a boy, 10, and a girl, 9, and three childeren out of every 15 I see have the same moral and respectful upbringing mine have had thus far. It shows in the kids actions. My kids receive ths same upbringing I did.
People, do not think more highly of yourselves than you ought: You are no better than Chuck, myself, or anyone else and you play by the same rules we do.
Do Unto Others As You Would Have Them Do Unto You.

Those people are every counter in every city and town everywhere. You are absolutely correct, they are rude and thoughtless but heaven forbid they don't get the service they expect. I hate the lack of common courtesy cell phone users display. Do I really want to stand in the line at the grocery store and listen to all your nasty little secrets from your date last nite? Uh, that's a no thank-you.

I hate being in line behind those types of people lol. I feel like saying "hang up your damn phone or get out of line!"
I also hate when I'm talking to someone...and they tell me to hold on so they can order food somewhere. Why would they call me or answer the phone if they are about to eat? Sheesh.

I agree. And it rather bugs me that the telephone has priority. i.e that if somebody is speaking with me in individual, and the telephone jewelry, they interrupt the communication to respond to the telephone. that's why it has an answering gadget geared up in! If we've been speaking and yet another individual had to stroll up and interrupt, that is impolite. (i'm speaking of a quick communicate the place we are very almost executed - they answer the telephone, "for a 2nd", and finally end up on for minutes.)

it is very impolite to talk on a phone while inside a store. they should be banned from all places of business, i most especially love it when one rings during a movie and the jerk takes the call and chatters away, everyone in the theatre should throw their drinks and popcorn on them!

If you think a customer has no right to do sth else while waiting in the line, you are wrong. If you think a customer has no right to do sth else while you talk to him, you are right. So, do not talk to him until he wants you to talk. OK?
