I have been coming on here for the last 3 weeks or so. And I have noticed that there are not that many people as I once thought there were on here. I am getting very familiar to other members and see many of the same names and avatars on here every day. So , has it declined or something , its membership?
I think quality has gone down considerably as well, maybe I am just getting tired of it , though. It seems like questions are many times answered with rubbish and smart remarks and the questions asked by other people many times are rubbish as well. What is your opinion?

I gather that, if you stick to one category, you'll see the same people a lot -- try visiting other categories.

I've been here months, BTW. I haven't seen a decline in the last few weeks -- if anything, it's better than when I first started coming.

i come here because i find the whole thing hilarious! we're answering questions for points! what do we win? uhhhm, by the time we find that out, this will all seem like a great waste of time. so, i would say we win nothing. and if someone likes your answer - 10 points. ridiculous!

on top of all that, yahoo uses this as a reference for any one who has questions for yahoo. i tried to find something out the other day and this is where they sent me. and it was a question about yahoo. now isn't that brilliant? they don't even have to do that anymore. let's give these guys some credit.

Every major search engine + networking website has at least one answer page. If you consider the fact that there are at least 3 major english Answers webpages, as well as several other answers pages in different languages, it isn't so surprising that the number of people who like to ask and answer questions in each site are more or less diluted.

Its a crap shoot. Sometimes you get a few wise guys, but just as often there are some really insightful educated questions and answers. Not unlike a typical day in any public forum.
