im watching ER right now, and Dr.Pratt's(mekhi phifer) license is suspended..Wut did he do? Why was he in trouble?

He was going to this church and donating medicines for people that couldn't afford them. One of the guys that got medicine from it, ended up dying.

He took presciption samples from the hospital phamacy and gave them to poor people who could not afford drugs on their own. The problem is that one of the patints he gave a drug to wound up in the hospital and was treated thinking he was only taking over the counter drugs. Of course, he was not and the effect of the drugs he was given in the hospital and the drugs he was taken before he wound up in the hospital killed him. Abbey reported this to the police and the medical board not knowing Pratt was involved and they charged him with a felony and sought to remove his license. In case you are still lost, it is a felony to dispense drugs without a license and Pratt's license is limited to the hospital dispensary alone.

he gave drugs that he took from the hospital to a church clinic, which is illegal. a man died as a result of taking the wrong drug. before pratt got involved the people at the church were exchanging drugs freely, so they could save money.
