Yes. Very easily.
It's done with freely downloaded tools like:
AirSnare-Setup-1.5.0.00.000
kismet-2007
wireshark-setup-0.99.4
Anyone can download them & learn to use them to hack into a PC on an unsecure wirelss network.
Type them into Yahoo's seach engine to learn more.

different the persons who circulate away their instant networks unsecured gain this as a results of fact they do no longer understand a thank you to set a bypass code or they have older desktops whose instant adapters won't decipher wep codes. for that reason, if it relatively is the subsequent door neighbor who you have wide-unfold for years, it relatively is very no longer likely that they are going to attempt to scouse borrow your information. it relatively is amazingly exceptionally no longer likely that they even understand a thank you to try this. yet once you're in an residence complicated and you do no longer understand whose unsecured community you're tapping into, you have to be soliciting for hassle. There are persons whochronic around neighborhoods with transportable laptops searching for unsecured networks that they are able to hack and scouse borrow financial corporation account information and different information from unsuspecting clientele. it relatively isn't any longer "common" even though it does ensue.

no basicly that meens the router u connected to is unlocked any one can get on it and use the net off of this box people can use wireless sniffers to collect data packets and try to decrypt them but it takes too long now the router u connected too if its not yours it could be loging requests (urls / addresses) things like that but as far as lousing bank account info youll have a better chance of being invected with a trojan rather than your info being decrypted wirelessly but its a good idea to enabel encription bc u dont want people stealing ur net
