After not taking the pill for the first time in years, I was happy to feel what I thought were ovulation symptoms (slight cramping which went away after a day and very tender nipples). Almost a week and a half later, I still have sensitive nipples, I had on and off again nausea (which thankfully has subsided for now), started very light cramping in my lower abdomen. I haven't been symptom free for a while now. Am I just experiencing very early pms symptoms or do you think this might be early pregnancy (which would be great!)? Anyone whose had a similar situation, please advise! Although I plan on taking a preg test next week (when my af is due), it's driving me crazy!

Hi, i can really relate to what you describe. I stopped taking the pill after 7 years at the end of december. Around the 17 / 01 i started to get cramps and ovulation type discharge, really hungry, irratable, bloated, headaches and every sign of pregnancy. I still have not yet had a period and have done 3 pregnancy tests over three weeks, the last 2 days ago. They all say negative. I think now it is just the hormones trying to corect themselves. Sorry if you are trying already but i dont think it is pregnancy. Keep posted on how it goes.

hi well in january i got my period on the 5th and around the 19th -22nd i felt cramping and a pinching feeling on my left side abdomen i think i was ovulating but on the 19th i had felt a very low abdomen cramping weird feeling but it was not like a menstrual cramp i think it was the whole ovulationg procedure and it was getting the egg ready to come down i would say after the 22nd and then from the 26th and up i felt would i would call my pms symptoms just confusing i would say also, i would wait if i were you till the day you get your period and if you miss it then your pregnant if not then give it all the tries you can you still got plenty of time to try plus it is your first month trying i have been trying for a 1 year and 1 month now and still nothing but good luck to you and wish me luck as well cant wait to finally find out when i am pregnant

If you're one of the lucky few who can actually feel ovulation, it generally only last a brief time (i.e. less than a day).

It could be that you're pregnant and it could be the pain you felt was implantation.

Best of luck to you!
