How do I get rid of the "creeky door" noise on AOL email when a buddie is on/off line? I've tried everything.

If you have AOL 9.0 click setup on your buddy list window. Look for and click "Im Settings". Chose the "Expressions" tab. Under "Buddy Arrival and Departure Sounds" choose "Do not play any sounds". Good Luck
