Would you be scared if you couldn't open your eyes when you first wake up. It's still dark around as you can only see blackness behind your eyelids. You try as hard as you can to open your eyes but they just won't and all you can see if darkness. You use your arms to pry open your eyelids and then you still can't see anything. Although there is another choice you can take, you are very sleepy and tired, you don't want to move, you can choose to keep them close and wait until you fall asleep again, or would you keep trying to get up? So would you be scared, or what would you do?

I sure would be scared, I guess I'd go back to sleep hoping that it was just a nightmare then if I couln't open them still after waking up I would scream as hard as I could (what for I don't know but screaming is my 1st reaction when I get scared)

That actually happened to me once. I got pinkeye from my little cousin and when I woke up my eyes were completely sealed shut with that crusty stuff. I really freaked out for a minute until I was calm & awake enough to figure out what was going on. I didn't know I had pinkeye yet but when this happened I remembered my cousin had it and figured that was the culprit so I calmed down. It took a very bumpy blind trek to the bathroom for some warm water & a washcloth and about five minutes of soaking/decrustifying to be able to open my eyes again, not a good feeling to wake up and feel like you're trying to open your eyes but you can't see, especially since I lived alone at the time.

i'd be scared as hell. Although it has happened to me before because the sleep stuff in my eyes was holding them shut sometimes i go back to sleep and sometimes i put water in my eyes and then they usually open.

I dunno, i probably would get scared, but then if i was tired, i would go back to sleep to wait and see if i can open them again. But after a while, i wouldn;t be scared, i would just try and use my other senses to get around where i need to. It would be weird though, woudn;t it?

Wash my face with warm water. The liklihood is that tears have dried and glued my eyes shut. It doesn't happen often, but it happens.

I would go insane and freak outtt. I don't know how blind people deal with it, it's just so terrifying not being able to see.
