Why do we look to gvmt to accept our relationships? What difference does it make to them? Does that piece of paper that you get make your union any more valid?
Gvmt should treat everyone as equals, even those whom choose to have a relationship but not marry.
Gvmt has no business giving official sanctions to peoples relationships.

Because of the joke and travesty that the straight community has made of marriage. That said, I am a gay male that has been married for 20 years.
