Don't know what it is but I do know that it's way to high.To many couples give up before they even get started good now days.Seems that everyone is expecting glorious things to happen everyday in a marriage and when something comes along and messes that up one or both of them wants to split.
We are a society of instant gratification.

I really do not know but i am sure it is just as high as others. Chip Ingram says that the divorce rate is higher for people who live together and have sex outside of marriage before marrying each other. The divorce rate is lower for the people who wait to be intimate with each other till after they are married.

does it matter? if you are living as husband and wife (sharing responsibilities as if you were married) than what's the difference if you are living together or already married?
I didn't live with my first husband and if I had--I certainly wouldn't have married him!! we were only together for a year 1/2.
I lived together with my last husband for over 2yrs + a child before we got married and we lasted 10yrs.
no way to really tell.
