Southern. The Hindu Kush mountains and the Himalyas are there, along with a few mountain ranges in China. Russia is basically all of North Asia, and for the most part it's plains, and dessert (arctic dessert).

Unfortunately, nor Northern, neither Southern parts of Asia are more mountainous. The border of Asia starts from Ural Mountains in the West and goes as far as far East and Japan in the East, and roughly from the Arctic Ocean in the North to the Indian Ocean in the South.

There are quite a few high mountain strips in Asia: Caucasus, Tyanshan, Altay, Pamir and Sayan mountains. These mountains start either in the southern parts of Russia or stretch to northern parts of, for example, China and Mongolia, or Central Asia. This actually means they are located in the middle of Asia.

And most famous Himalayans that are located in Nepal would also be more in the middle part of Asia.

There are also lower and less known mountains both in Northern and Southern parts of Asia. However, as I mentioned before the highest peaks are located in the middle of Asia.
