No because they didn't win their playoff game.. A great Superbowl matchup (impossible, but it would have been a great game, just look at their playoff game) would have been the Colts and Patriots..

The Bears definitely didn't get lucky. They dominated that game. The Saints turned the ball over way too many times and looked extremely nervous. However, I wouldn't be suprised if The Saints went all the way in 2007. With Colsten and Bush having a year under their belt and Devery Henderson coming into his own, if these guys can stay healthy, that offense will be fun to watch for a long time

i really think the saints vs. bears, the Saints played poorly, espeically on defense. i really root for the saints but i get angry every time i see their defense comes out. it lacks good protection when it comes to the pass. the Defenses best players can't cover well. i belive the bears were the better team over the saints only for this year, next year when the saints fix their defense, then they are superbowl contenders...

think about if the saints went up against the Colts? the score would be like colts 63 saints 49. saints give up way too many big plays

I think the Bears did many things better than the Saints and deserved to represent the NFC in the Super Bowl.

Of course not. They lost. The Bears didn't. What are you going to do, say to the Bears, "Yeh, you beat the Saints, but you were lucky, so even though you won, you can't go to the SuperBowl."? Lame.

the bears didnt get lucky. lucky is when say reggie bush fumbles and bears score a td and win by 7 or less pts. but the saints had 4 TOs and that is unacceptable and they should lose.

If the Saints would have played harder, they would have made it. Chicago really did a job on the Saints because they wanted to go to the Super Bowl.

A really pointless question don't you think? The fact is they didn't make it, so who cares about LUCK...

If they HAD deserved to be in the Super Bowl, they would have won the game against the damn Bears...

The Saints were a very good team indeed, but
they did'nt show it in the playoffs. You have to
play almost perfect games to go all the way.

Yes, the bears got lucky. They were an average team at best. The Superbowl exposed that. Their QB wouldn't start on any other team, and their defense is overrated.
