I say gather up all your single friends who have no partner and make a night of it! Go out to eat, go see some funny movie, just hang out. Play cards, throw a party or whatever.
Make sure no one is wearing red or pink and if they mention the word Valentines, love, kisses or any of those other loveywords then they have to pay up a buck to whoever catches them

Rent all the cheesiest horror films you can find and have a spook night! Popcorn, drinks, etc - no sappy garbage allowed!!

broken heart cookies, goody bags filled with out of season candy, easter, christmas, halloween, etc... or just have the whole party with out of season stuff. get every1's mind off the dumb holiday.
