It happens to be my favorite decade and I was wondering what comes to your mind when you think about it.

Also my favorite decade. For me, the 70's were filled with Sesame Street, and Ovaltine. The 70's portrayed in the media is as over-embellished as my rhinestone studded bell bottoms.

Drugs, tie die and Fleetwood Mac. I wasn't alive during that decade (I wasn't born until 1980). When I think of the 70's it reminds me of a drugged out 30 to 40 year old (Drugs started heavily in the 60'), you know, the ones that just can't let go of the high and they look like crap?? Thats what I picture when someone says "describe the 70's".

Well... I was only fours old when that decade ended. What I remember.... Cheap shoddy stuff was produced... Scary cults...
Greasy food... Star Wars Toys... The Jeffersons.. Saturday Night Live...Happy Days.
