Merchant things. Buy low sell high. Bulk is better.

The easiest way that works for both members and nonmembers is to mine ore. Iron sells for 100-150 ea, Coal for 150-200 ea, and Gold (if you can find a buyer) is 350-400 ea. Smithers can make steel bars for 50-60k an hour.

Members have more effective ways, such as making bowstrings (roughly 100k an hour). If you are a member, ask on the official forums for other ways.
