When is U2 Releasing their next Album?

There has been no official release date set for the album as of yet... it's still in production status. I can tell you Rick Rubin is producing it and that the majority of it's recording was done at Abbey Road Studios.

I've heard it's going to be this year but I have my doubts. I'd say sometime in 2008, if we're lucky. But if I'm wrong I'll be completely thrilled with that!
