I kept telling her I didn't want to talk about it until we both calmed down. She kept on and on. I asked her to leave my office and we could talk later. She slammed my door and before that screamed at me that I was very unprofessional. I told her she was the one that was unprofessional. Everyone heard her in the office. She wants to meet with me tomorrow and I don't know what to say. She is a micro-manager and always right and doesn't listen.

It depends on your relationship with your boss. I used to do merchandising for a Fortune 500 company. On more than one occasion I have thrown managers, regional managers, district managers and vice presidents out of my work area. I could get away with it while others would not. I was respected and was the best at my job and they knew it.

You need to ask someone from human resources, preferably someone at least on the same level as your boss, to sit in on the meeting with you. It won't help you with your boss, it may not even keep you from getting fired, but it should at least prevent the shouting and unprofessional behaviour out of the room.

I had a micro-managing boss several years ago and I couldn't stand going in to work anymore. But that does not change the fact that he/she is your boss, and you can't just tell them to leave. You should have called HR right then as a mediator.

It is always rude to ask anyone to leave your office room . Keeping a job means to be realistic about the problem, never make it an ego issue.Anger is natural when you make any thing personal, try not to be unprofessional.

Known as a LCM, Limiting career Move but in reading your situation, i think you did the right thing. MAKE SURE YOU HAVE A THIRD PARTY THERE TOMORROW!!!!!

It will be your word against hers otherwise and trust me on this, even with witnesses on your behalf, they sometimes take the manager's side.

I would go over her head on this one. You need to have someone who is above her join you in the meeting. You were right to ask her to remove herself from your office to prevent the situation from becoming worse.

I guess if it is YOUR office, then you do have the right to ask her to leave, especially if both of you are being hostile and are angry at the time. It would be best to work it out later.

If your boss wants to talk to you, you listen. You seriously need to grow up and control yourself. Your boss doesn't sound much better.

Prepare to pack your things, I think you're getting fired.
