I dont want to make any stupid mistakes, and want to know as much as possible about this ovulation and "fertile" period stuff! I've had sex only a few times, and each time I freak right out cuz every possible inkling of getting pregnant creeps into my mind! We used a condom, and he pulled out as well...Also, I got my period the very next day...what're the chances? What scares me is how they say "it's never 100% that you wont get pregnant - there is ALWAYS a chance"...eek! :(

Be advised that you can still get your period even when you're pregnant. The only absolute way to not get pregnant is to abstain from sex altogether. Sorry, hate to sound like a parent, but that's what I am. And it's the same thing that was told to me by my own doctor so I'm just passing along what I know.

No it's never 100% safe, but you're being responsible in the way that you're handling the situation. The chances of your getting pregnant while on or just a day before your period is slim it has still happened. And getting your period doesn't mean that you're not pregnant because you can still be pregnant and have a period monthly for a few months. Why don't you take birth control pills or use a spermicide along with the condom for the extra assurance. Just keep being responsible and diligent.

Very, very low for what you are describing. Unfortunately for you, the 'always a chance' mantra rings true. Another thing to keep in mind is that the average healthy couple in the best of circumstances only have a 20% chance of getting pregnant during each cycle. So, not a great chance that you are, but not non-existent either.

If you have sex the day before your period you chance of getting pregnant is almost nil as the egg has died and will just pass through.

The key is to have sex 14 days from the first day of your last period.

Check out this website, go to the bottom enter the details and it will tell you when you are Most fertile.

All the best

Nah as long as he uses protection and you use some form of birth control you are mostly 100 percent not getting pregnant. Now if you just use a condom its like 98 percent I believe. It sounds like youre not pregnant though. But still you should look into birth control also.
