8. Interjection - A word that shows emotion or effect

Okay: a noun: A person, place or thing
A verb: an ACTION word
An adjective: modifies a noun (using ends with ISH) The man had a BOYISH face.
an Adverb: modifies a VERB (typically ends in -LY) The girl went SLOWLY down the hill.

A NOUN is anything that you can see, anything you feel like love, hatred, it is also an idea like patriotism, or communism, it is anything you hear like a roar, a cry and it is also anything that has a name. in other words, it is a name word: like dog, cat, mouse house, country or month (these are common nouns) On the other hand, James, Fido, Garfield, Slow Poke Rodriguez, The Trooper J Mansion, Japan or July are called proper nouns.
adjctives are words that describe a noun. exampe, red bag. Red describes the bag which is noun. a big house. Beautiful lady, etc...
adverb are words that describe or modify adjctives, vebs or aother adverb example: VERY (adv) old (adj) / Speak (verb) SOFTLY (adv) / VERY (adv) BEAUTIFULLY (adv) crafted (adj) piece (noun)of art.
verb - action words like run, jump, speak, talk, etc... verbs may also be state of being verbs like, AM, IS example: I AM sick. He IS handsome.

verb- doing word *run, jump, play
adj.- describes a noun *cool, fresh, silly

verb:something you do (run, walk, swim, talk)
adverb: describes the verb/how its done (quickly, patiently)
noun: a name of a place, person, animal or thing (Michael, school, chair, book, pencil, laptop, sky, ocean, restaurant, Olive Gardens)
adjective: describes the noun (big, small, ugly, nice, horrible, blue, yellow)
subject: the person that DOES the act (He, she, the boy, the dog)
