I'm trading my sorrows
I'm trading my shame
I'm laying them down for the joy of the Lord
I'm tradin' my sickness
I'm tradin' my pain
I'm layin' them down for the joy of the Lord
And we say:
Yes, Lord, Yes Lord , yes yes Lord (repeat 3x)
Amen
I'm pressed but not crushed-persecuted not abandoned
Struck down but not destroyed
I'm blessed beyond the curse for His promise will endure
And His joy's gonna be my strength
Though the sorrow may last for the night
His joy comes in the morning.
I'm tradin' my sorrows, I'm tradin' my shame
I'm layin' them down for the joy of the Lord.

This is a great contemporary praise song by Darrell Evans---
and the message it brings helps to see it's much better than drowning your sorrows in booze --maybe give it some thought.

No, it only makes things worse. When the alcohol wears off, any problems you had will still be there. You'll only make things worse in the long run. Deal with what you have to; lean on a friend or relative if needed. Good luck.

Deal with it.

Your problems grow whilst you're drowning your sorrows. Grow up, and stop being the drama queen...

Im sorry...but I disagree....

If you have sorrows.... find a way to rejoice...

Short term pain and strife certainly beats being dead... Just ask Anna Nicole

Nothing wrong with a few shots of tequila.... or a bottle of wine... But not to escape from your reality....
