yes its possible. you make it possible. have u ever stayed home from school sick, and u werent really sick, but yet later on ur stomach really didnt feel good. its a mind game. If u believe in ur self you control ur mind, you control which memories to remember, which to forget and so on. I do know somethings that is so tramatic you may never forget, but dont let it become you, seek a freind for talking and support, in the end i believe it is us, each person, who controls or minds.

I don't think it is possible to ever "truly" forget about it.
The trauma will just not refer to it as "trauma" and the person will just not focus on it all the time.

What is actually considered Trauma?
A dog will lose his leg and not think about it.
We seem to focus on it and make it worse than it really is.

I think it is all a mindset. Some cultures and people do things we think are unbearable. Why? Because they don't consider it to be as bad as what we make it out to be. Therein makes all the difference.

apparently its possible to forget things whether they are trauma or not..it has happened to me..most of my childhood has been blanked out of my mind..I can remember a few things here and there but not like i should. Then i meet people that can remember every minute of their life or it should seem since they were born..I know that I should be able to remember more and then every once in awhile i remember things and mention them to my wife and then forget that i mention them and she acts like I used to when my mother told me the same things over and over..i can tell you this people do forget.. my mother god rest her soul..used to pinch me so hard in church that I had black and blue marks for weeks on the arms..My cousin still remembers it.. But for years I would mention it to my mother and she swore she never did that and she was religious and would never swear but just didn't remember..and well yes something can be so traumatic that you have no memory of it.. but whats odd is the things that relatives tell me that happened to me a lot I dont remember and it wasn't traumatic i suppose your brain only has enough room to remember certain things

, it takes looking at what happens if you let crap in to your inbox, soon it is over burdened with stuff you never intended to get but once u have opened the door to it on it came, the stress & worry is like that too, make a special place in your mind for it so it doesn't clog up your inbox, we are alike computers, we hace to move it or delete it, as we rely on the computer ,so it uses us as its model, we can reform some of your needs by being less seneitive like the computer and just use our system rather than bogging down with emotions

I guess it's possible, but I remember things I did even if I didn't suffer trauma. I think guilt would be enough to keep me remembering.

Yes, there are many reasons specific moments become as if they never happened. Then again, there is selective amnesia.
