Personally...I'm doing what I always do...I'm questioning the moves my team made (or didn't make) this offseason and I'm looking around the rest of the league and trying to scout everyone else and predict who is going to end up where 162 games from now.
I'm checking out ticket prices and games I want to go to. I'm frantically searching for some sort of baseball article on a website that I haven't read yet. I'm preparing for my fantasy baseball season. I'm talking baseball to people who don't care, but I just keep talking anyway because baseball is my passion.
Essentially, it's the same things I do all year-round...the only difference is that buzzing in the air. Any true fan of the game knows what I'm talking about it's that electricity you feel right around the time you hear reports about players who are looking healthy and ready to have a good season or you hear about guys who are reporting to camp early. It just this feeling that no matter what team you root for...everyone is equal. Until the last pitch of the first game of the season...every team is equal right here and right now.
It's an incredible time of year and it only makes me appreciate how perfect this game is even more than I already do.

I will be getting a new Yankees cap. I will be picking up Yankee novelties as well as wearing my Don Mattingly jersey on opening day. That is what I will do to prepare for the new season.

I'm a Reds fan.
I spend my offseason giving offerings to the baseball gods of sunflower seeds and footlongs in the hopes that we'll have a better bullpin, less injuries, and a new hammy for Griffey Jr.
