By this I mean a movie that had the potential to be great but turned out to be a flop or a movie with a plot that was never exploited the way it should've been.

The Village

X- men the last stand!!!! This was a major disappointment. I hated it I thought that the jean Grey was too old they could have gone in a whole better Direction with the Phoenix no to mention the whole time series with cable they could have done. The old cartoon was better. The casting was only mediocre at best.

I would like to say to all the directors that if you are a fan the doesn't mean that you can make a movie. just because you read one comic does not make you a fan. do it right or just dont do the movie at all please I cant take another Hulk, or Daredevil, or Electra or another spin off with made up villains and bad scripts sucky acting , non important action scenes and a cliffhanger that I already know whats going to happen in the second movie. thanks but no thanks

Ok I realized not to see another M Night Movie after The Village but this is what I think he's staregy is make a crazy insane trailer that makes us want to go see the movie then we go and waste our money to see it and it was not what we expected theres always a hidden point with no real scary threats I think The Sixth Sense and Signs were his only good films

But okie for the Question The Matrix Revolutions could've been a hell of a lot better it pretty much rushed a million little things and had Smith Copying himself every few minutes then the machine battle and The Final Battle I admit it had good parts but had more potential could've been more extreme

War of the Worlds.
Also, I haven't seen it yet, but the previews for Bridge to Terabithia disapointed me greatly. It looks like it is going to be about something totally different than what the point of the book was. All those computer graphics make me sick. None of that happened in the book. The focus is supposed to be on the emotional development of the characters, and it looks like the movie totally cheapens it.

I agree with the person above: Lady in the Water

The preview for that movie is probably one of the best ever. But the movie was absurd.

One of the worst movies of all times based on an epic book that was completely amazing and compelling, Battlefield Earth: A Saga of the Year 3000.

My GOD was this a total waste of film!
The book, however, was great!
