Hehe, sounds so familiar! Ok, first question, how old are you? Things like this tend to happen often in highschool, and I'm sure it's just a faze you two are going through. If not, then she probably didn't care much about you to being with if she can't forgive you for something we've all done (talked badly about someone). If you aren't in highschool, you should talk to her and tell her that her actions are immature, and that together you two should work to surpass that. Try to say it in a nice way though :)
Good luck! But definately you should talk to her. Ask for a chance to explain yourself, and if she doesn't give it to you, then she really doesn't have a right to be angry at you because she doesn't know all the facts!

Sit down with your friend and talk to her. Whatever you've done, apologize. That's all you can do. If she's not willing to accept your apology, move on and continue to meet new people. Don't be jealous of her new best friend. It's okay to have more than one. Good friends are hard to find these days so do whatever you can to make things right with her. I hope my advice helps. Good luck.

You're in love. Woo her back with all costs. Otherwise, you'll be a looser to the rest of your life. You cannot afford to loose any best friends.
