i am doing secret valentines at school?

secret valentines is a fun valentines thing we do each year when every one asighned a partner and give them a small prize each day leading up to valentines day. I can't figure out this part in the clue my buddy left, at the bottom of the page it said i hope girls like theese is it a boy or a girl trying to trick me?

i guess a boy, because a girl should know herself and girls better, a boy would not know about girls as well so they would say, " i hope girls like theese."
