Maybe some of those heart shaped candies to start out with followed by spagethtti and garlic bread, with wine or what ever you favorite drink is( id have dr pepper lol) then for dessert, how about some strawberries dipped in chocolate or sugar or just plain. music some good old country love songs, or whatever music you like that sets the mood. you could light candles and place them around the room, on the dinner table and have a candle lit dinner, maybe sprinkle some rose petals around on the table...

I know this isn't your answer to your question, but it's a advise to your idea. Okay then. You can give him a chocolate with card. Or maybe a CD soundtrack that was especially made by you. And the cover could be a picture of you and him and the title would be something that is romantic. And you guys can make the songs together.

1] Go to the fabric shop.
2] Get the biggest red bow in the store.
3]Stop by grocery store, get some tasty choclates on the way home.
4]Take a gooooood bath.
5]Put on some goooooood smellin perfume.
6]Fix your hair reall pretty.
7]Wrap your self in the big red bow .
8]Lay accross the bed with your legs spreaded
9]Make sure to put traces of chocolate from your tummy down
10]When your man gets there enjoy!!!!!!!

You can also make him a scrapbook. You can put picture of you guys together or maybe when you guys went on a trip together.

When he comes home, you can put the music he likes and dance. And tell him to dance with you.

Home cooked by me, of course.

Smoked salmon, avocado, pink grapefruit served on a bed of lettuce as a starter.

Main course of pan-fried lamb chops with garlic bread. It is important to eat this with your fingers as it is a very sensual experience.

Desert would be mango sorbet.

A nice wine would be a chilean cabernet sauvignon if you like reds, or a good retsina if you prefer whites.

Music; I would probably put on groove salad (at somafm.com). It's mostly light and warm and largely not vocal so you can have a good conversation.

well, it sure as hell doen't have anything to do with Betty Crocker, but if she wants to watch that might be fun; just as long as she doesn't try to run away with the wooden spoon it might be ok to make it in the kitchen...
