reflection on the ocean

Michael Dino and curious dad answered the question pretty well...

Some better questions....
1. Why do so many people ask "why is the sky blue" when as they are asking the question they see that it has already been asked and answered OVER 1000 TIMES!
2. Why do so many people think it is because the sky reflects the ocean, and why can't they read the correct answers before giving an answer that is OBVIOUSLY wrong?
3. Why did you ask this question in the geology/earth science section?
4. Why am I so angry about this?

the sky is blue due to the angle of the covalent bond and energy levels of the atoms of water... the rays of the son enter our atmosphere ... the atmosphere .. contains water... some of the light rays are filtered out ... leaving the appearance of blue sky

Due to the absorption of certain frequencies of light waves by our atmosphere.
NEVER let anyone tell you that it is because of the reflection of the oceans.
That is COMPLETELY INCORRECT.
