Bush won't attack Iran unless they launch an attack. I doubt that will happen. As long as Iran has a government in control, it is a sitting duck target just like Iraq was. It's when you take out the government and the little insurgencies pop up everywhere that you have the most problems.

If there is attack of Iran, this may disrupt fuel supplies, so maybe a bicycle would be a better investment. Anyway, regarding timing of an attack, I would think that if an attack would occur it would be in spring as US fuel demands would subside after winter.

Yup, the US people are against the war in Iraq so the administration has to vilify another nation. Gotta keep that old Military Industrial complex moving along.

No probably not. The only reason to attack immediately would be if they had proven that they had nuclear weapons or were openingly threatening American interests in the region. The military is stretched too thinly for it to engage in another theatre of war.

Your question is a good one, something to remember. The people of Iran are like the scorpion walking their land. It would be wise for America to watch her back. yet the scorpions name is"man killer", and the people do it's bidding. no joke. when the strike force of it's power in the tail, is taken away from the last kill. they will have no power to strike and kill the man.
