hey I went to my 30 week checkup today and the doctor said my babys heartbeat is at 145, what do you think the sex of the baby is?? I'm getting a ultrasound next thursday and will pick best answer then.

well. i was 30 wks at my last dr's appt and my babys heartbeat was 145. and i know already that im having a girl. so, it could very likely be a girl. my mom told me that thats about what my heart rate was. but you never know, you always have a 50/50 chance. Good luck and God bless!!

A BOYYY!!! that is what i am hoping for! hopefully thats what i will get! although i am still in the prosess of try to get pregnant but im sure it will happen soon becuase i know i am a very fertile woman!! and i sex a bunch this week! (time of ovulation) so prey for me!!!!!! anyway,,, with my daughter now 3yrs old her heartbeat was always 160 or higher sometimes it would drop but not too often i really think your having a boy from what i have heard!! but hey you just might be surprized and it may be a girl and i guess then it will prove all of us who have answered your question wrong!! but we'll just have to wait and see! Determining gender by heartbeat is a wives' tale.
But if it's any indication, our baby's heartbeat is around 140-145, and we just found out we're having a boy.

Well they say if the heartbeat is lower than usually it is a boy, but you never really know! Congrats and Good Luck.

I would guess a boy. I am having a boy and his heart rate has stayed around 146. Pretty much always the same. so that is my guess. Good Luck

My sons was 146...i don't think it means anything, but if your baby is similar to mine, could be a boy!

sounds like a boy....that is what my little boys heart beat is around...between 138-140's
