You can seperate them by extraction. If you mix them with water, the zinc chloride will dissolve in the water and the cyclohexane will not because it is non-polar, and the mixture will seperate into two layers which can then be seperated by using a pipette.

Zinc chloride is insoluble in cyclohexane. Filter the mixture. ZnCl2 is on the filter paper. Cyclohexane passes through.
