alrite i play freshmen basketball our team record is 8-5. We got a solid team and all 5 of the games we lost were close. Now the freshmen girls are undefeated but they flat out suck. they play the worst teams. they play girls that look like theyve never touched a ball b4. i was watchin one of their games because it was b4 ours and a team they played air ball 10 lay ups in a row. hahahahahah i kno right!! So anyways the girls think that if we played them we might win and if we did though not by a lot. hahahahah now thats a lot of bull ****. Our coach said if we win our next two games we can scrimmage them which we will. hahahahah its gonna be so funny and im gonna be like rubbin it in their faces when were playin bein like o my god this is so easy!!!!!. So yea in con clusion girls basketball is a massive joke because all it is is just running up and down the court huckin the ball of the backboard. hahahahah i was watchin a womens college game for less than a min on tv today and some girl missed a full court layup!!!!!give me a break.
My freshmen team is gonna make the girls look a fool.

Obviously they're gonna be at a different level from the Men's game, but that doesn't make it less interesting. As many people have pointed out, college sports are all greatly inferior to professional sports, but people love them. Not because they're the best, but because they're much more competitive and because it's more exciting. But I'd still rather watch a men's game :-P although at least Duke women beat Carolina...

college and professional womens basketball is played fundamentally at a very high level , women shoot a good percentage, block out, always go to the basket, and make free throws much unlike mens bb at both levels...that being said...the women arent flying around 30 to 40 inches off the court...that and big money marketing has not been effective selling the sport as it has been in marketing mens major sports in america...the only major womens sport that draws and is even remotely close to paying the women as much as the men in major events is tennis...which is well marketed and has a huge international following...in our country the media and marketing just embraces its profit opportunities pushing mens sports...

As a women's coach, I say no. I do enjoy watching the men's game because they are very athletic, but women at higher levels are fundamentally sound and play excellent team ball.

I wouldn't say particularly that it sucks, although it could be greatly improved by redisigning the uniforms. Perhps if they wore ONLY the shoes and nothing else THAT would be a start.
