Here's a big picture for you: Almost all electronics goods are imported, because American union workers demanded ridiculous hourly wages and manufacturers sent the jobs overseas where workers would work at reasonable wage rates. Anytime you hear someone complain about how such-and-such a politician sent our American jobs overseas, you know it's a crock of bull. Exorbitant wage demands sent our jobs overseas. Period.

Why do American companies keep overcharging for poorly made trash? I remember when the Made In America label stood for the best quality in the world....that hasn't been true for a couple of decades. Overpaying for lower quality would be like giving American companies a welfare check.....you don't want that do you?

Have you actually paid attention to the item that we try to export? Okay, for instance, Americans buy Hondas because they are cheaper on gas. We try to export these Fords that are gas hogs and take too much space on Japanese streets. Okay, are you actually looking at the big picture yourself. We would love to buy American goods, but, hello...American goods are just not as well-made as foreign goods.

And, by the way, if you do your research, you will find that the economies of foreign countries directly effect American economy. Instead of griping, do more research.

What? I don't think YOU see the big picture. So, you're blaming us for buying foreign products, but you don't even blink when the US corporations move to places like Cambodia where they can get insanely cheap labor in sweatshops? Oh please, get over yourself.

Because we have a free market and some products are better quality and cheaper.
