I have a friend whose brother is a psychopath. Most of his friends don't come over because they are scared of him. And i do know he causes trouble in his family. But what i don't get is he is considered the best camp counselor, the camp has ever had. He was and still is considered the perfect camp councilor. Flaw less at handling kids of all ages for weeks on end. But not getting along with the other councilors. And one year he just quit. Can someone shed some light on this?

If he truly is a psychopath, then he will probably have to stay on the move to be able to lie and get jobs as each time his lies will eventually catch up to him, then he will have to move on again. When he moves out of state you probably will not have to worry about dealing with him very much after that...

What makes you think he's a psychopath? I mean, this is the definition of a psychopath: A person with an antisocial personality disorder, manifested in aggressive, perverted, criminal, or amoral behavior without empathy or remorse.

If this guy was so good with kids, how can he be a psychopath? He may be anti-social, but that doesn't guarantee he's a psychopath. He could just have some serious introversion issues and can only relate to kids...maybe because they aren't as judgmental as adults.

Some psychopaths are really good at doing one type of thing....maybe it's coaching (but not getting along with other coaches), counseling (but not getting along w/ other counselors), teaching (but not getting along w/ other teachers), or focusing on one task at work, etc.

there are few links to anywhere out there that others can't manipulate to get what they want. i too can walk in to a psycho ward and converse with people who will not deal with those on the in side and there fore in your case the individual has this ability but it is not a proper channel and has selective reasons that are found out about and they (regulators) tend to bond together to get rid of any un savory links to skills of lock step methodologies
