I would just do whichever you like better. I personally prefer golf, because it is a sport that you can play throughout your life, but I think that crew can be relaxing to some, and also gets you in great shape. If this is your primary sport, I would do whatever you like more, but if you are doing this as a secondary thing, I would do crew because it gets you in better shape and will help you in other sports.

Okay, golf DOES involve physical activity. Try walking up and downhill over a period of hours, with a 15 lb bag and clubs strapped to your back, to play 18 holes. I played golf all through high school and, in high school you do not ride in carts, you walk! Only people that have never played would say that it is not physical activity. Try knowing something about the sport before you respond about it. Golf may not involve running and shooting baskets or even tackling people, but it is VERY much a sport. It is something that is extremely difficult to be good at and is absolutely a lot of fun. It is a sport that height or weight have absolutely nothing to do with. You can be good at golf even if you are very short, very tall, very thin, or very overweight. It is a great sport and you get great exercise playing it.

Golf is a game you can play throughout your life. Crew would get you in great shape though, and build some muscle. Since you are a freshman, can you do golf one year and crew the next? That way you could try both to see which you prefer.

Yo, I'm not sure what you mean by crew (sailing?!!). All I know is that golfing (in my mind) shouldn't be included as a sport since it doesn't involve physical activity. Plus it seems ridiculous and old people play it and you wear freakish clothing. Anyway, at my Highschool people who play golf are pretty much teased unmercifully. Maybe it's different at you're school, but crew (whatever the heck it is) MUST be better than golf!
