Well, I guess if you can't afford something...stealing always works. Try Bit Torrent. It has less spyware and the odds of getting caught are much less.
If you like Crocodile Rock you might like some Billy Joel. Try "We Didn't Star The Fire" or "In The Middle of The Night."

As for the author and name of the song you mentioned:

The song is "Working in a coal mine" by Lee Dorsey.

Limewire is what I use to get music. Pretty good quality stuff on there. As for the first song, it is sung by Lee Dorsey and is called "Working in a coalmine". Crocodile Rock is another of my all time favorite songs. You should definitely look into more of Elton John's music. He really is an amazing singer/songwriter. Later!! And happy Listening.

Sounds like you like 60's music. Try the Coasters if you like Workin in the Coal Mine by Lee Dorsey.

Also, if you look up thos couple of things on Yahoo Music (which is free straming music that you can rate and customize... I use it all the time and love it) they will make recommendations of other things that are similar to what you say you like.

Walmart gives freebies sometimes but their songs don't cost much anyway. I've heard that sometimes bands will put up certain songs for free on their websites. If you like songs about coal mines you might like Sixteen Tons.
