is there anyway to hide an eviction if you have one like if you go to rent again and you just fail to mention you lived in a apartment before does that work out?

some home owners do back ground check on your crdit history and it may pop if the previous landlord sues for back rent. Tread lightly!

no. as a landlord ,i would much prefer that the tennat told me up front about the eviction and any good reason for the eviction. dishonesty will get your application tossed real quick . be honest and up front. it is real easy for landlords to check civil court records online.

If they don't ask, I wouldn't tell. But evictions are legal proceedings with public court records.

Be up front about it. Yes, there are ways to check these things out and if you lie, you will only compound your problems.
