Alright, my computer, when I look at the box it came in, says i should have over 60G of memory in my HDD on the computer. A while back, I went to download this game, and it said not enough room on my laptop. When I went to check out how much memory I had left it was 2G, but what really caught my attention was that when I went to see how much over all, Max, amount of memory I had was only 23.2. I don't know why, maybe somethings being read wrong, some other person said I shoudl go make a partition, didn't give too much detail on THAT specifically. I just want my fair 60G of HDD, what's going on?

Hard drives dont have memory .They have space which the computer uses as virtual memory.
Try Partition Magic to regain your space.

you will have to reinstall your windows operating system. insert your windows recovery disc and turn off your pc, restart it and it will boot off the disc, follow instructions to install a fresh copy and make sure you delete the partition on the hard drive, then format and it will give you the full size of the hard drive, this is all done following directions from the disc. when the install is completely finished you will need to insert the driver and utilities disc and install all the motherboard drivers. it really is not that hard to do if you pay attention to the directions. hope this helps

the hard drive may be partitioned. the computer you have may be pre-owned, but it definately sounds like a partitioning problem
