A good idea for the NBA, i think, is to make limited edition jerseys with the reigning MVP on the logo. for example, if the MVP was shaq, have the logo be a big guy dunking. Nash, have someone giving out the dime. Kobe, have the logo put up a jumper

Marketing wise the new logo should be LeBron, the NBA has already stamped his as the frontman and essentially the new "NBA logo" so it would just fit to have his silhouette be the logo.

The NBA is not going to make a new logo. BUT, if they were to do that, and it had to be a person, I should of course be Michael Jordan because what do people that have no knowledge of basketball think of when they hear about basketball? MICHAEL JORDAN. Who has 1 countless championships? MICHAEL JORDAN. Who is so famous for his signiture layup and dunk? MICHAEL JORDAN!!!!!

I would go with each team having their own logo for their own ball. They can either put on the team logo or the best player on the team.
