If the Heliocentric theory of Copernicus, Galileo, Kepler and others was proven true. And since it was discovered that the sun is as much the center of the universe as Earth is, and that the sun revolves around something else as the planets revolve around the sun, while moons orbit planets:

First of all, the sun and our solar system is NOT at the center of the universe, if you were thinking that. Our sun and its planets orbit around the center of our galaxy (..called the 'Milky Way'...) It takes about 226-million years to complete one orbit.

Copernicus was only half right. He stated that the Earth orbits around a stationary sun. He was right in saying the Earth orbits the sun, but incorrect in referring to the sun as stationary. Prior to Copernicus many thought the Earth was stationary, and everything moved around it.
