Well I was just wondering which would be a better upgrade for my new HP. It currently has 1GB of RAM and a 6150 Graphics/Video Card. I was looking and I saw a GeForce 7950 at Best Buy for about $300. I was also thinking I could get another GB of RAM so it'd be 2 Gigs of RAM. Which upgrade would be better to get for gaming? Any help would be appreciated :)

You have to look at the entire system, for example a great graphics card will not do you a lot of good without a fast processor..

In your case that 6150 graphics processor is probably not doing you any good, I suggest that you upgrade to 6800 GT level card for $150 and you will still be able to afford a gig of RAM for $120 or so. Just search the major on line retailers, most of them are AWESOME

if you havnt pushed your graphics card to the limit of its abilities dont get a new one. unlike msot things its meant to be used to its full potential. your ram on the other hand should never be totally used up and for gaming more is always better. i would recomend 4 gigs or more if your motherboard will support such high capacity chips.

YOUR GRAPHICS CARD IS A GOOD CARD BUT THE EXTRA GB OF RAM WOULD IMPROVE YOUR SPEED BETTER THAN A NEW CARD ALSO YOUR CPU SPEED MUST BE FAST IF YOU WANT TO KEEP UP WITH THE BIG BOYS OF GAMING

I'd go with the graphics card. That's more of a bottleneck as long as you already have 1GB of ram.

Definatly the video card would be a wiser choice, but if you got lets say a 7600GS or somethin then you could ALSO get some ram..
