I HAVE A CANON DC100 CAMCORDER. Chuckie helped with my last question. Can he come to my rescue again? I can view my disc on the tv, but I can't run it on my computer. Says I need to download some dvd playback software. HOW, WHAT, WHEN AND WHERE?????????

You may already has it on your PC. It's called Window Media Player. Go here http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windowsmedia/download/AllDownloads.aspx?displang=en&qstechnology= and download the newest version 11. Or you can download VLC here http://www.videolan.org/vlc/

first u need to look up the video format on ur disc....what file extensions do they have?
then u can find the appropriate software to play it or convert it...
the usual softwares to run video files r:
-window media player
-cyber link power dvd
-realplayer
-quick time player
