Not really enough details, but you probably have a strained muscle (or two or three). Where you active much before you did this? Meaning, did you exercise normally already, or was this the first serious workout you have had in months?

Have you stretched your legs out? Stretching before and after exercise is very important.

If your muscles are strained, alternate ice and heat for 15 minute intervals right after the injury. Also, Icy Hot, Bengay and any other type of sports cream could help with the soreness and pain. If your really worried about it, like it hurts a whole ton, go see a Doctor.

Pulled a tendon or hurt your Meniscus in your knee. Probably just have a little tendonitis which means your tendon is inflamed. Put a cold pack on it for 10 to 20 mins. You can use ice in a bag that zips closed. Put a wash cloth or dish towel around it.

Try to find where the pain originates from by poking lightly or sqeezing lightly with your fingers. It will be the highest point on your leg. That's where you put the ice.

Let your leg rest tonight. If it still hurts tomorrow or gets worse tomorrow see at medical professional.

You just got them tired, relax them and it'll be all good.
