I want to get my girlfriend a box of chocolates for valentine's day, but there's a problem... she's allergic to nuts. Does anyone know of any brands of chocolates that are nut-free? It would also be nice if they were somewhat affordable... I'm on a budget! Thanks!

check Whitman, they may have something, the only problem is any candy company you risk that the ingredients have been exposed to nuts in the factory and depending on the level of allergy it could be a big risk. Does she like flowers??? Stuffed animals?? It doesn't have to be huge, just from the heart!!

becuase nuts are in almost all factories you may find it difficult to get a cheap set as you need choclates mad ein a factory that has never had nuts, why not make her choclate covered strawberries, they are easy, not expensive, and show that you really care, see my answer and the ideas of others at http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20070128085447AA23I8v
