The grandmother of Anna Nicole Smith’s dead son Daniel Wayne Smith has claimed that her grandson was murdered.
Daniel Wayne, 20 was found dead in his mother’s hospital room in the Bahamas on September 10 just hours after she had given birth to her baby daughter Dannilyn.
After two post mortems toxicology tests revealed that Daniel Wayne had died from a cocktail of drugs in his system.
It was found that Daniel Wayne had taken a concoction of methadone, Zoloft and Lexapro that caused cardiac dysrhythmia leading to his sudden death.
His grandmother Virgie Arthur is unable to accept that his death was accidental she claims that Daniel Wayne “didn’t take an overdose.”
She said to the Sun: “It was murder. The levels of drugs in his body are way too high. Someone has to pay.”
A memorial service was held in Texas for Daniel last weekend that was attended by his estranged father Billy Smith who had not seen his son since he was two years old.

Just because her autopsy says that there was no sign of struggle or anything like that, does not rule out murder. She could have been slipped the same combination of drugs that her son had in a drink or something like that. This is just too weird. I think it was murder......Get the son out of the way first because if Anna dies first then he gets the money to the estate, then get Anna out of the way so that the next person in line ( the person that has custody of the baby) can get the estate. This is just all too weird. Her mother said that her son was murdered and then said that Anna should be careful who she hung around with because she might be next! I think she was murdered. Murder does not have to be messy......it can be clean.......and look like an accident or natural causes. Just look at Richard Kuklinski and his cyonide killings.....he made it look like heart attacks and they never knew it was murder!

Hypothetically, Howard K. Stern could benefit if he is really the baby's father. He could then try to sue for the Marshall fortune in her name and become the trustee. I didn't say he did it!! A man is innocent until proven guilty! I think it's just as likely that her death was a suicide after the loss of her son, or an accidental overdose. What a tragic situation.

Kind of strange how the son and Anna both had similar symptoms a few days before death -- high fever, incoherent speech, disorientation. I do believe Howard was with both of them too.
Yeah, that can't be sheer coincidence.

No she wasn't murdered. She collapsed in a Florida Hotel and her child was in the Bahamas with Anna Nicole's mother. Her son Daniel died to a drug overdose....

I think her son may have been depressed and so he killed himself he hadnt seen his father since he was 2 years old and the only father figure he had (marshall) died of old age and then his mother I dont mean to disrespect her but she had a wild and crazy life possing for playboy,doing drugs, drinking,partying etc.. a lot of this when he was young maybe seeing all of that as a young child may have haunted him into his adulthood He was taking anti-depressents for depression who knows. But I dont think anna killed her self She just had a baby girl 5 months ago she was hospitalized back in nov. for an infection due to her c-section so maybe thats how she died I just dont think she killed herself but we will find out soon what really happiend.

Does anyone suspect that Howard K. Stern had anything to do with this? He is so creepy, and I read one theory that he was the one who gave her son the other drug found in his system. And, do you honestly believe he is the father of that baby?!!!

i'd have to say i think she commited suicide i mean she had all this legal drama going on with the dna for her daughter i think if it come back that she had the same kinda drugs in here system as her son then you would have to look at the fact that she could have killed her son or that someone killed her the same way they killed her son and that just opens up a whole nother can of worms but i think if it comes back she killed her self i thing shes better off dead because i just don't get someone killing there self just to leave a poor innocent 5month old without a mother i don't see how anyone in there right mind could do a child like that
